The trains may have stopped running, but our shop and tea room are open for business.

If you’re in or near Porthmadog…… The shop and tea room at Porthmadog (WHR) station will be open during the winter.

** SHOP - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 – 16:00

The shop sells Welsh gifts and Thomas the Tank Engine products. We also specialise in railway books, with one of the biggest selections in the country, and railway models.

** RUSSELL TEA ROOM - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 – 16:00.

A traditional home cooked Sunday lunch is served every Sunday, £7.95 for two courses or £9.95 for three courses. The menu includes home made desserts such as apple pie, rhubarb crumble and the Russell Tea Room bread and butter pudding.

The Russell Tea Room is also open for Christmas Dinner on 25th December. Call us on 01766 514040 to book.

The Tea Room is closed during January and February for redecoration, but will reopen 1st March with a St David’s Day celebration – check back here nearer the time for details of exact date and the home cooked Welsh menu.
